How to Join?
Do you want to see and feel what is Beach Bound Crossfit all about? Come join us for a free class today! Please refer to our schedule for class times and descriptions and arrive 15min before class to fill out a waiver and speak with one of our coaches about your exercise history, background, and goals. Depending on your fitness background, the foundations course will be scheduled within your first month.
What is the Foundations Course?
The Foundations Course is split up into 2 , 45-60 minute sessions in a small group setting headed by one of the Beach Bound CrossFit Coaches. The Foundation classes will teach the basics of Crossfit’s foundational movements.
Introduction to Olympic weightlifting :
Proper handling of a weightlifting bar
Front Squat ( Introduction to Cleans )
Overhead Squats (Introduction to Snatches )
Introduction to Gymnastics movements:
Box Pull ups
Introduction to Powerlifting movements:
Introduction to overall movements:
Foundation classes will be scheduled by our head coach on a monthly basis. We strongly advise you to complete these 2 classes before you attend the regularly scheduled CrossFit classes. Please reserve your spot as space is limited. We do offer private, one-on-one foundation classes as well. There will be an additional fee associated with this.
